The Beginning

The idea for this device came from a very personal experience. My son had always wanted a dog, and after much consideration, I agreed to a Boxer because of their reputation for being sweet, loving, and loyal. While this proved true, training quickly became an overwhelming challenge. Walks were especially difficult, as Boxers are easily distracted and have a short attention span. As I researched further, I learned that many Boxer owners face similar struggles with training and behavioral control.

The Results

I am firmly opposed to harsh training methods, and traditional positive reinforcement was not an option either, as my dog suffered from significant allergies that prevented the use of treats – even healthy alternatives. Without effective tools to reinforce good behavior, everyday situations became stressful. He jumped on visitors, chewed through anything within reach, and often refused to listen, displaying a level of stubbornness that made consistent training extremely difficult.

The Development

Faced with these challenges and a lack of humane, practical solutions, I was inspired to create a device that could support training in a gentle, effective, and compassionate way – one that respected the dog’s well-being while helping families restore balance, safety, and enjoyment in their daily lives.

K9 Corrector is an easy-to-use dog training system. When your box arrives, simply attach the speaker to your dog’s collar and connect it via Bluetooth. Then visit the training module on our website and follow the guided training steps to get started!

Inside, you’ll find everything you need to get started: a Bluetooth speaker with collar mount, charging cable, Quick Start Guide, and free access to the K9 Corrector training web app. The simple setup makes it easy to start training your dog right out of the box, with everything conveniently included in your kit, including a training guide!

How do I get the app?

Yes! K9 Corrector is compatible with all Android and iOS devices. To access the training app, open the training module on your mobile device, tap “Share” → “Add to Home Screen”, turn on “Open as Web App,” and tap “Add.” The app will then be available right from your home screen.
